  • JetBlue’s CEO heads to YouTube to almost, but not quite apologize for their crappy service recently. All in all, JetBlue is doing a great job responding to the debacle, but this video comes just shy of fantastic by failing to utter those two great words:

  • I can't get past the politician's fist -- that closed fist with the thumb on top gesture. When did that become law? It's everywhere, like Hondas. At this point, all it says to me is "I've been trained on how to seem sincere." Maybe I have a little OCD on that. I agree an apology in the video would have been nice. On the other hand, could it later be used against them by competitors? If you have him saying "I'm sorry" on video, then a competitor can use it do a spoof if Jetblue suffers any other PR debacle or controversy. Could be ammo down the road -- just sayin'.
