Speaking at Refresh Dallas

April 6th, 2006 Posted in Events and Speaking

If you’re one of my Dallas readers, come by next week to the Refresh Dallas meeting. The discussion is a panel discussion, which is my far my favorite format.

This installment of Refresh Dallas is a roundtable chat with a few local social media mavens Brian Oberkirch, John Keeler, Jake McKee, Blake Burris). There may be a t-shirt given away to someone who says something inspiring. (T-shirts & stickers are Web 2.0 costs of entry, eh? "Our software is free. Our schwag rocks.") Let’s talk.

Hope to see you then.

I’m a Dallasite and am interested in Refresh Dallas. I was disappointed to see it taking place somewhere other than Dallas. I’m in ultrafarnorth Dallas so I might make it. I’ll try to prepare some questions in case I do. This is my first exposure to the group, and it sounds appealing. have a nice weekend! (btw, my first expsorure to BlogFusion as well, and that’s pretty snazzy :) )

Came to the meeting tonight and I thought it was informative. A bit much on the My Space talk for my liking but all in all, nice job.

Question 1: Why did you leave LEGO?

Question 2: As I graduated a Comm. major/Comp. Sci. minor I tend to take things down to the fundamental humanistic levels as you seem to. With that said, how involved are you in the technology side of it? Coder/designer? Just curious.
