Music has been a bigger and bigger focus in movies and especially TV. Shows like American Dreams, and now Swingtown have used music nearly as an extra character. Music is weaved into the fabric of the show. Of course, all too often, the creators fail to help you learn who the artists are. Kudos to CBS and last.fm for building a great partnership around Swingtown’s soundtrack.
