For those of you who know me (or have gotten emails from me at the wee, wee hours of the night), you’re probably going to need to sit down to hear this… I’m on vacation.

No, seriously.

After two years of consulting work, I’m taking my first real vacation. No laptop, no work tasks, no contact, and no 2 year old. The wife and I are heading to Cancun for some much needed beach lounging.

The CommunityGuy.com blogging schedule will resume on 4 August, refreshed and reinvigorated.

I am currently out of the office attending to one of the following types of business:

[ ] Swimming in the warm waters of Mexico
[ ] Drinking umbrella drinks from an easy chair
[ ] Reintroducing myself to my extremely patient wife

In order to give these matters the same attention I give my clients, I will not have access to email or voicemail. I will return to the office on August 4, refreshed and reinvigorated and will return your message at that time.

      Jake

Not that you need to add another comment moderation/reply to your tasks when you get back… I just wanted to say “good for you!” That’s an important step in taking good care of you, your family and your business. AdAge’s Small Agency blog just had a relevant post on the same topic: http://adage.com/smallagency/post?article_id=12

    Enjoy yourself, my friend.
