Seriously, I need an iPhone. I watched Flickr streams and news coverage all day yesterday lusting, drooling, wishing it was me walking out of an Apple or Cingular store, phone in hand.

Of course, I’ll be waiting for two things before I buy:

1. A reduction in the initial price. When they reach $300 with a two-year contract, I’m in.

2. At least one iteration – never, ever buy the first gen Apple anything. Seriously, that’s just a waste of money.
Of course, the radical early adopter in me is drooling all over the place. Damn that Apple!

Yahoo! announces cancellation date of Yahoo! Photos

We’ve been hearing for a while that Yahoo! Photos was going away and Flickr (yeah!) would replace it. But I just got a notification from Yahoo! that the time has come.

Interestingly, the Flickr attitude must be infecting the Yahoo! team… they’re suggesting that if Flickr isn’t for you, then check out one of their competitors. (Interestingly they point out the competition but don’t link to them – very sly)

Are you a Web designer/developer? Do you know any great smaller Web development shops? Yeah? Great, I need your help.

I’ve been working with a client to develop their online interaction and community strategy and they’re about ready to get started implementing. They are looking for a great Web shop that is small enough to be excited about their very reasonable budget, but big enough to get the project done right and on time.
