FreshBooks is looking for a Community Development Manager to take our existing community of freelancers and service professionals and connect them to each other.

FreshBooks has leveraged all kinds of media channels like Twitter, Facebook, blogs, advertising, events and support to build an awesome audience of customers. Your role is to help us now create the world's largest, most active and most valued network of freelancers and very small business owners in the world. We want them to share, network, support, learn and work with each other. And we need you to make it happen.

If you like creating the online and offline enablers for customers to connect with each other then we'd like to bring you in to be our Community Development Manager.

We will be successful if:
  • FreshBooks customers:
  • Are sharing and communicating with each other online in droves
  • Are networking, learning from each other and building their businesses together
  • In local markets are self-organizing to meet with each other to collaborate and network

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of building self-sustaining customer communities/networks that connect customers to customer
  • The desire to start from scratch and make it all happen
  • Keen and intuitive passion for helping small businesses help each other
  • The ability to effectively enrol and enlist people in your efforts
  • A love of working with teams
  • A flair for inventiveness combined with a strong ability to organize and execute
