Community Manager for Network of Senior Human Resource Officers, your mission is to develop launch plans, strategies, growth initiatives, and access and training on Web 2.0 tools for communities founded by, hosted by, new consulting firm focused on innovations in the workplace.
You must learn the HR/Corporate Learning industry—reading trade blogs, participating in webinars and understanding that is important to this community.
The Community Manager will support, coordinate, facilitate, moderate, lead, guide, and represent this community. You will work with managing directors in consulting firm to conduct research, analyze data, and provide guidance and recommendations to create a thriving and highly engaging community.
Here are a few of the duties that you would be tasked with:
* Knowledge of all social media tools—including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Ning, etc.
* Develop strategies to use these tools to grow the community
* Create, manage and revamp profiles of our firm on the most popular social websites and relevant niche sites
* Monitor internal and external Web sites and facilitate/moderate/lead discussions
* Provide real-time alerts and monthly reports to key internal stakeholders.
* Create, coordinate, publish, and follow up on new content as it serves the needs of our customers
* work with consulting managing directors to participate in a workshop training our community on WEB 2.0 tools
* Meeting planning for two live face ot face meeting as well as using Tweet up to plan and manage local meetings
