Position Summary
An Enterprise Community Manager is a key enabler for many of CollabNet’s new and existing customers. Our Community Managers are recognized thought leaders in configuration management as well as the Software Development Life Cycle for our enterprise customers. This is an exciting chance to work in a strong Professional Services team in an very unique position.  The Enterprise Community Manager is the main liaison between CollabNet and all community members within the customer’s community, with responsibility for ensuring a positive user experience as well as improving CollabNet’s value proposition for its customers.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to establish and measure business goals and success criteria
  • Configure CollabNet TeamForge (CTF) (trackers, projects, templates, roles, etc) to align with Customer Community Plan
  • Mentor, train and consult team leads on how to further drive the community
  • Create web pages and community resources such as FAQs, Events, Tips&Tricks, links to resources, etc
  • Serve as the primary evangelist for the customer community
  • Provide CTF tool guidance and 2nd level support to community members
  • Promote ongoing community best practices
 
 
 

Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • BA/BS or equivalent working years
  • 5+  years of experience in enterprise software development as programmer or analyst.
  • Experience in leading or active contribution in opensource projects a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to influence and motivate development teams based on solid technical application life-cycle development and configuration management knowledge
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams that include engineering, marketing, sales and operations a plus
  • Proven track record of leadership, teamwork, creativity and initiative
  • Technical: Must have some experience leading software development projects or have the equivalent configuration management consulting experience, preferably in an enterprise globally distributed development environment. Must have good working knowledge of web design tools (HTML, CSS, etc)
